K Ba-Nana, a beauty pop-up featuring the latest K-beauty skincare and accessories, has announced the late-summer opening of its first retail location at University Village. “I’ve always loved everything about Korean trends, especially all the fun, cute, beauty products,” explains founder Liz Kang Yates, “I’m excited about sharing a mix of Korean brands, some of which are being sold in the U.S. for the very first time, in a colorful and innovative environment.”

The assortment of products will feature K-beauty favorites such as sheet masks, nail polish, cosmetics, and skincare essentials. In addition to beauty, K Ba-Nana will also carry a curated mix of accessories including socks, hairpins, jewelry, and gifts. Featured brands include TPSY, Too Cool for School, Huxley, IPKN, Moart, and A'Pieu.

The pop-up shop will take over the space formally occupied by Apple, giving K Ba-Nana a prime retail location within the outdoor shopping center. The store interior will feature bright colors, hand-painted murals by local artist Jesse Brown, and custom fixtures designed to highlight the unique mix of Korean beauty products. Interactive, Instagram-worthy scenes were strategically designed within the store to offer a fun and memorable shopping experience. Guests will find decorative photo walls and have access to a Molly Moon vending machine that serves up Minimoon cups of ice cream. The pop-up will also serve as a community hub for creative collaborations and local lifestyle events.

K Ba-Nana will open its doors to the public on Sunday, August 26 at 11 a.m. and remain open as a pop-up through the end of the year. To mark the store opening, the first 2,000 customers will receive a special gift with purchase, while supplies last.
