University Village Announces Female Forward Series
University Village is bringing women’s health and wellness to the forefront this October with a month long series designed to inspire, inform, and empower women during every important stage of their lives. The highly-anticipated Female Forward line-up includes ticketed panel discussions, dynamic in-store shopping experiences, and special events created to build community and hold space for meaningful conversations.
The series kicks off on Sunday, October 1 with a teen beauty event at Sephora, followed by a style showcase at CB2 on October 8, a women in business event on October 11, a candid conversation about women’s hormonal health on October 18, and a beauty discussion about aging gracefully in partnership with Skin Spirit on October 25. A variety of other free special events and activations for women of all ages and stages will also take place throughout the month. A full calendar of events can be found here.

Highlights
October 1 - Mom and Teen Shopping Event: 10 -11 a.m. at Sephora - Learn about women-owned beauty brands such as Drunk Elephant and Saie. Check out beauty demos to achieve fall’s best beauty trends at home. The first 50 guests will recieve a Sephora swag bag.
October 2 - All That Dance kids class: 2 - 4 p.m. at All That Dance - Anyone is welcome, and it’s free. Just drop in! Located at the All That Dance studio on Blakeley Street.
October 3 - FrogLegs Cooking School cookie decorating: 10 - 11 a.m. at FrogLegs Cooking School - Stop by FrogLegs Cooking School to decorate cookies and learn more about their adult and kids cooking classes.
October 4 - Virginia Mason Franciscan Health Meet the Obstetrics and Gynecology Team.
October 5 - Oiselle hosts Bras for Girls and Girls on the Run plus, Thursday Night Flight Club: 4:30-6:30pm at Oiselle. Learn more about Bras for Girls and Girls on The Run then join them alongside Oiselle for their Thursday Night Flight Club on the Burke-Gilman trail.
October 7 - Jenni Kayne hosts Takara Designs and OMO Ceramics from 11 a.m. -2 p.m.
October 8 - Fashion Forward: A style showcase and discussion on what women are wearing now: 10 - 11 a.m. at CB2. Presented by Darcy Camden, Founder and Chief Stylist of Styled Seattle. Special guests include On-Air Personality Ellen Tailor and fashion publicist Sydney Mintle of Gossip & Glamour. Pastries and coffee to follow at Sézane.
October 10 - Lululemon Supporting Mental Health Through Movement class: in the Lululemon studio presented by Morgan Zion, Katie Herndon and Dr. Gillian Ehrlich. 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. Register here via Eventbrite.

October 20 - Clare V. hosts Every Mother Counts from 2-6 p.m. Learn more about what Every Mother Counts does, and enjoy Clare V. early releases, hand-painted monograms, surprise giveaways and sips and bites.
October 21 - Aveda hosts Seattle Bouldering Project Yoga Class: at Aveda. Details coming soon.
October 22 - Credo Beauty presents Clean Beauty 101: At Credo Beauty. All day, just drop in.
