Father’s Day is June 21 and there’s still time to get the dads in your life something they’ll love. From cool dad sneakers to face masks and overnight bags, we’ve got you covered. This year’s list includes a variety of local and national brands, each bringing something special for dads to cherish.

Kiss-For-A-King-MannishBoy.png

Kiss for a King Sweatshirt by Mannish Boy Clothing, $52. Seattle stylist Curtis Bright of The Bright Report recently put this local brand on my radar and I love the designs and product range. They also carry tubular neck gaiters that can be used as face masks.

Harlem-Candle-Co-GiftGuide.png

Love Candle inspired by James Baldwin by Harlem Candle Co., $65. I first learned about this company when I was in New York for the Women of Color Fash/Tech Brunch and got to meet the founder. The Harlem Candle Co. is a luxury home fragrance brand specializing in scented candles inspired by the richness of Harlem. Founded in 2014 by travel and lifestyle expert Teri Johnson, the Harlem Candle Company is the manifestation of her love affair with fragrance, jazz, and Harlem.

Face Mask by Seattle brand Gustavo Apiti, $40. Designer Gustave was born and raised in the Democratic Republic of Congo and has been sewing since the age of eight. Since then, he has worked with top fashion houses in South Africa and done custom work for celebrities around the world including Seattle rapper Macklemore.

LeLabo-Pomade-GiftGuide.png

Le Labo Hand Pomade, $25. This hand cream can make even the roughest hands soft again and it smells great too. According to Le Labo, The Hinoki scent is inspired by the Buddhist temples of Mount Koya in Japan which all carry the mystical, profusely warm and mesmerizing scents of the hinoki trees from the surrounding forest. It’s paraben-free, too. Available locally at the Le Labo on Capitol Hill in Seattle.

Canvas-OvernightBag-FloraHenri.png

Canvas Overnight Bag by A-Frame available at Flora & Henri, $178. This bag is made from durable canvas and is the perfect size for weekend adventures. Also available in white. I have both colorways of this bag and love how portable and easy to care for it is.

Marquez-LowTop-GuillermoBravo.png

Marquez Low Top Sneakers by Guillermo Bravo, $295. These shoes feature Italian nubuck uppers with neoprene socks. This local brand is the brainchild of Seattle designer Luis Velez, created with style and sustainability in mind. Fun fact: The outsoles of the shoes are biodegradable.

CheckerSocks-PrismSeattle.png

Black checkerboard socks, $26 from Prism Seattle. Dads will love these cool socks made from a blend of hemp and organic cotton. Since 2012, Prism has been part of Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood and offers a vast collection of clothing, accessories, home goods, and gifts.

Freeman_WaxCotton-Jacket.png

The Freeman Concept One Jacket, $265 delivers lightweight, water-resistant coverage. This jacket is made from 100% organic waxed cotton that is sourced from a famous fabric mill in Scotland. Each jacket is cut and sewn by hand in Freeman’s studio located on Capitol Hill.

Lord Jones CBD - Fathers Day.png

CBD Dark Chocolate Espresso Chews, $30 by Lord Jones. These hemp-derived CBD espresso chews are great for dads who love coffee and want a sweet, yet calming treat. Each chew contains 20mg of CBD.

HawksLanding-FathersDay-GiftGuide.png

Hawks Landing Getaway at Suncadia, Prices Vary. We recently rented this house managed by Vacation Rentals 365 and loved the privacy of having an entire home at Suncadia while still getting access to the on-property trails, dog park, and playground. Located just 90 minutes from Seattle in Cle Elum, Suncadia is a great place to escape the city and get back into nature.
