The holidays are here and despite the current restrictions in place due to COVID, there are still many ways you can support the small businesses in your community. When I started my fashion PR agency over a decade ago, many thought that the business model would be relatively short-lived because of the perceived lack of fashion in the city. Turns out, there are countless beauty, fashion, and lifestyle brands based in Seattle and new ones emerging each day that would LOVE your support this season. We’ve had the pleasure of working with hundreds of these brands over the years and we’re proud to continue supporting them as we embark on a decidedly different holiday shopping season. Every dollar counts and we hope you’ll join us in supporting small businesses this year that need your support now more than ever.

To celebrate our on-going #ShopSmall sentiment, we’ve compiled a series of six Holiday Gift Guides over on our sister site, SydneyLovesFashion.com that are sure to make this year’s holiday shopping experience fun and easy!

In my latest blog post, I round up 100 local brands that you can shop online right now as you plan out holiday gifts for everyone on your list. The round-up includes brands in a variety of categories including beauty, fashion, menswear, kids, jewelry, wellness, toys, gifts, and more.

As a general rule, I never leave the house without jewelry. We’re talking rings, earrings, necklaces, and stacks of bracelets. Accessories are my life, and so it’s only fitting that in my jewelry gift guide, I recap 7 of my favorite pieces from sustainable brand Boma Jewelry.

My 6-year-old daughter London Parker helped me compile a light-hearted gift guide for girls that includes everything from Barbie accessories to leopard coats, nail polish, and metallic shoes.

This season I’ve partnered with Made in Washington to highlight women-owned businesses making amazing holiday gifts for everyone on your list. 80% of the brands sold at Made in Washington are founded by women, making it a great place to shop for products from female-founded brands that are made right here in the Pacific Northwest.

As a mom of two little ones, I can tell you first-hand that it’s the moms who keep the world going round. My mama friends mean so much to me and this year I’ve compiled a special gift guide inspired by all the amazing mothers in my life. The round-up includes stylish face masks, sustainable sneakers, easy accessories, and must-have books.

I’ve gotten countless emails, text messages, and DMs this year asking for info on must-visit places to shop local. In this blog post, I recap my favorite shops in 9 neighborhoods where you can get great gifts for everyone on your list.
