Media Alert: Fashion + philanthropy come together at Wine, Women & Shoes
Tickets are on sale now for the 3rd annual Wine Women and Shoes event taking place onThursday, November 10, 2016 at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel in downtown Seattle. The event will raise critical funds to provide safety, healing and loving families for children in the community who are in crisis and have suffered abuse. Over 350+ well-heeled women and their “sole mates” will attend the posh annual event hosted by King 5’s Kim Holcomb. The evening will include glamorous on-site shopping experiences, sips from local wineries, including Alexandria Nicole and O Wines, delicious bites, “shoe guys” serving up platters of must-have shoes, a live and silent auction, plus a fashion show featuring marketplace vendors, including JJ Caprices, Ampersand as Apostrophe, BUKI, and more. Guests will also have the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets to win the coveted “Key to the Closet,” a fashion- forward prize package valued at over $10,000.
Last year’s event raised over $245,000 to help fund programs for at-risk children in the community. Olive Crest believes that family is the ultimate source of hope and lasting change. In a positive family environment, children not only heal, but begin to thrive. The funds raised at Wine Women and Shoes are spent on a variety of local programs including foster care certification and training, case management services to help strengthen families, and mental health counselors to support families.
Join Seattle’s most wine-savvy, shoe-loving women as they kick up their heels for a fabulous cause. This event sells out every year, don’t miss your chance to help make a big difference for children in the community. Because if the Choo fits, wear it!
