The Village at Meridian Hosts Annual Witches Night Out Fundraiser
The Village at Meridian hosted its 8th annual Witches Night Out fundraiser for local non-profit WCA (Women's & Children's Alliance) on October 12, 2022 in partnership with Audi Boise. The event included a “scary witches” costume contest, mystical lip reader, spooky photo opps, a chance to win a coveted “Witches Wardrobe” and more.
“We are once again showing our heart to the community by hosting one of our signature events, Witches Night Out. We couldn’t be prouder to have the opportunity to give back to the Women and Children’s Alliance helping people right here in Ada County,” shared General Manager Hugh Crawford.
"The WCA is so grateful to The Village at Meridian for its continued support! Witches Night Out is a very special event that combines a fun opportunity to dress up and explore the village while also providing the WCA team with an opportunity for community outreach. This is a great way to remind those who might need our services that we’re only a phone call away. The combination of donations to support our work and the chance to connect and share information about our services - all at the same time - is both bewitching and magical!" said Bea Black, CEO of Women and Children’s Alliance.
The event also featured LIVE music by The Last Call, a Sanderson Sisters stage show, local food trucks, a special appearance by animal expert Corbin Maxey, and a special “Wall of Wine” experience. Community sponsors included Audi of Boise, OGA Treasure Valley, Franz Witte, and Aardvark Entertainment.
“Witches Night Out is a fun way for women to support women,” shared Ramona Merrill, Vice President of Marketing for CenterCal Properties, “It’s our Founders’ mission to be good neighbors and it’s impactful for women at the event to look around and see that their community supports them.”
The annual Witches Night Out event at The Village at Meridian has been recognized by the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and has received multiple accolades honoring its excellence in creativity and innovation in the industry. Learn more about the Village at Meridian here.
