UpWest Announces Grand Opening at The Bellevue Collection
The new storefront will be the brand’s first location in the Pacific Northwest and comes in response growing customer demand in the region for casual clothing that is good for people and the planet.
UpWest, a contemporary lifestyle brand best known for its comfort-first approach to casual clothing, has announced the grand opening of a new store on Seattle’s Eastside at The Bellevue Collection. Scheduled to open on Saturday, September 16, 2023, the space will allow the digitally native brand to continue expanding its physical retail footprint around the country. Since its launch in 2019, the eco-friendly brand has done well with sustainably-minded consumers in the region and continues to gain market share nationwide.
The 1,500-square-foot store will feature a full assortment of high-quality, mindfully-made casual clothing for men and women in addition to a curated assortment of home goods and wellness products from like-minded brands. With a focus on Comfort for Good, UpWest’s core collection includes denim, t-shirts, and outerwear, utilizing eco-conscious materials including recycled polyester, organic cotton, and hemp.

UpWest’s "Give Back Box" initiative offers free shipping for customers to donate gently-used clothing, which supports a variety of charitable causes and encourages a circular economy by keeping textile waste out of landfills.
Taking compassion one step further, the UpWest Foundation works to bring comfort to those in need by donating a portion of the proceeds from every sale to help others attain essential comfort. Since its launch, UpWest has donated over $100,000 to diverse charitable organizations, positively impacting lives and contributing to a better world.
To celebrate the grand opening of the Bellevue location and give back to the local community, UpWest will donate proceeds from its opening weekend sales to Humble Design Seattle, a local non-profit helping families transitioning out of homeless shelters by providing furnishings and design services.
The official grand opening is scheduled for Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 10 a.m. Shoppers will enjoy refreshments by Woods Coffee Co. and sweet treats by Trophy Cupcakes.
