To date, Repreve has diverted more than 25 billion plastic water bottles from landfills.

  • Evereve also carries a brand called Edwin, which specializes in making eco-friendly denim at B Corp certified factories in the U.S. that are focused on reducing waste and curbing excess water use in the production process. Kiehl’s

  • Sustainability, responsibility, and transparency have been part of Kiehl’s core values since the very first Kiehl's store opened back in 1851. From the farms that grow their plant ingredients to the stores that sell its finished products, Kiehl’s strives to give back to the community and promote social responsibility.

  • Kiehl’s uses recycled materials whenever possible and encourages its customers to do all they can to reduce their carbon footprints. One way they are working with customers to do this is by encouraging the use of refillable beauty containers. Research shows that the United States produces about 120% more plastic packaging now than in the 1960s. Of that, less than 10% is recycled or reused—the rest ends up in landfills. This year Kiehl's launched refillable packaging for several of its most popular products. Customers can buy refills at the store and top up their containers at home.

  • Kiehl’s in-store Recycle & Be Rewarded program allows customers to bring in empty Kiehl's containers and have them recycled to earn rewards. Since implementing the recycling program in 2009, Kiehl’s customers have helped recycle more than 11 million empty jars.

  • For the event, Kiehl’s will be offering shoppers a free refillable bottle when they make a purchase from the refill line.

Internationally, they have 10 suppliers across 23 factories in Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Mexico, Pakistan, and Vietnam.

  • Ref clothing is graded on a Ref Scale that tracks the environmental footprint of each product. This info is listed on every product page and the number is calculated by adding up the pounds of carbon dioxide and waste emitted + the gallons of water used to make each garment. In addition, Reformation invests in programs that replace some of the resources they spend making their products. Offsets help actively reduce CO2 emissions.

  • In 2021, Reformation launched two regenerative fiber collections. Regenerative fibers can help reverse climate change by absorbing more carbon than they release, therefore reducing carbon emissions in the atmosphere. Reformation's FibreTrace™ denim collection featured Good Earth Cotton from the first climate-positive farm in Australia (tracked using embedded traceability technology). They also worked with NATIVA™️ to source 100% traceable wool that's produced using regenerative practices.
