Sskein Launches ‘Beloved Beanie’ Collection in Partnership with Mary’s Place
Just in time for the holiday season, Sskein has introduced a new line of beanies that gives back to a great cause. For every Beloved Beanie sold this holiday season, a beanie will be donated to Mary’s Place.
Sskein has launched a 9-piece collection of beanies made from ultra-soft, 100% baby alpaca wool in an effort to support Seattle non-profit Mary’s Place. The ‘Beloved Beanie’ collection is designed to bring awareness to the ‘No Child Sleeps Outside” initiative launched by Mary’s Place to provide support for unsheltered families in King County. For every Beloved Beanie sold this holiday season, a beanie will be donated to Mary’s Place.
“When we launched Sskein in 2020, it was always our intention to find impactful ways to give back to our community,” said Sskein founder Elisa Yip, “We chose to partner with Mary’s Place because we wanted to highlight the pressing issue of homelessness in Seattle. My hope is that our on-going partnership will shine a light on the critical work Mary’s Place is doing in the community to support families experiencing homelessness.”
Sskein’s ‘Beloved Beanie’ collection is made in Peru using sustainable, small-batch production methods. The gender-neutral, ribbed beanies are available in 9 colors and retail for $95. The Sskein x Mary’s Place ‘Beloved Beanie’ give-back campaign runs through February 2022.
