Recap: Neiman Marcus Menswear event
Menswear is having a moment and according to the featured influencers at last week's Neiman Marcus event, it's about time. Over 80+ bloggers, influencers, and shoppers gathered at the Neiman Marcus store in Bellevue to celebrate spring fashion and check out key looks curated by Avi Soor of Suited Soor, Curtis Bright of The Bright Report, Nelson Yong and Andrew Hoge.
The evening included refreshments by Mariposa and signature whiskey cocktails including the BLT (Bulleit, Lemon, and Tonic) provided by Bulleit Whiskey. Reps from Creed Fragrances and Kiehl's were also on-hand to demo products and answer questions. The Bulleit Woody tailgate trailer even made an appearance at the 110th street arrival court just for the event.
Guests perused spring fashion looks and sparked long-overdue conversations about menswear in Seattle. "We want to spread our influence and build the menswear community in the city," said featured influencer Avi Soor, who recently started a menswear collective called the "Seattle Gents".
"I find that great style is less about what you wear and more about how you wear it," says featured influencer Andrew Hoge, "It's all about being confident, sexy, and vulnerable. When you learn this, you become the most fascinating version of yourself."
For those unfamiliar with the menswear assortment at Neiman Marcus, shoppers will find everything from Tom Ford Suits to Givenchy sneakers and Balmain T-shirts. Key trends for spring '17 include the menswear slide, all-season suede, linen, destroyed denim, and tropical prints. Stay in the loop of menswear including new product collabs and launches at Neiman Marcus by visiting the NM blog.
Major THANK YOU to everyone who came offline to celebrate spring style with us at Neiman Marcus! If you missed it, don't forget to sign up for the Gossip & Glamour mailing list to get on the list for future fashion events in the city.
