Recap: House of LR&C Grand Opening Party at U Village
Russell and Ciara Wilson recently visited University Village to celebrate the grand opening of their new House of LR&C retail pop-up. Guests got an exclusive first look at the new storefront with beautiful floral moments by Sprig Flower Co. and enjoyed music by DJ Sharadawn, bites by Gourmondo Catering, mini desserts by Trophy Cupcakes, and wine by XOBC Cellars, all local, female-founded brands. Throughout the evening, guests also enjoyed signature cocktails featuring Ten to One rum.
At the event, guests got to hear directly from Russell and Ciara as they thanked the community for its support of their latest venture. Members of the House of LR&C team including Therese Hayes, Chief Sustainability and Business Development Officer, and Greg Conner, Vice President of Retail Operations, also provided additional insight into the store’s mission and values. Ryan Tarpley, Chief Strategy Officer of Wilson’s Why Not You Foundation was also in attendance at the event and spoke briefly about the community impact of the foundation. 3% of the store’s net revenue is donated directly to the non-profit to fund programs and scholarships that empower youth.
The new space leans into The House of LR&C’s innovative approach to commerce by displaying Flowcodes throughout the interior and exterior of the store. Guests are invited to scan the Flowcodes with their phones to unlock unique AR experiences and find more information about each brand. The House of LR&C (Love, Respect, & Care) carries merchandise from Good Man Brand, LITA by Ciara, Human Nation, and 3 Brand.
The event concluded with numerous group photos, meet & greets with Russell and Ciara, and a well-deserved champagne toast. Gossip & Glamour was thrilled to help produce the VIP event at the House of LR&C and host members of the media, community partners, and local influencers.

The House of LR&C’s store at U Village is located at 2616 NE Village Lane Seattle, WA 98105 next door to Trophy Cupcakes and Ben Bridge Jeweler. Hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays.
