Recap: Boma Kids Day Event
Local kids gathered at the Boma Jewelry pop-up in Seattle on Saturday for the 1st annual “Science of Jewelry” Boma Kids Day event. Mini sustainable fashion fans explored gemstones and precious metals, participated in hands-on jewelry restoration demos, and learned more about the environmental impact of jewelry.
Boma Jewelry CEO Suzanne Vetillart is a mother of 4. The Boma Kids Day “Science of Jewelry” event evolved out of a desire to help educate the next generation of sustainable fashion fans. Children who participated in Boma Kids Day received a certificate of completion after the event and enjoyed logo cookies by Fairyland Pastry.
