RealSelf just released a new study showing that there's a growing interest among men and women in Seattle for minimally invasive, non-surgical procedures. Last year 94 million people worldwide visited the site to research elective cosmetic treatments. Laser and energy device treatments emerged as a key driver in the study conducted by RealSelf. Interest in CoolSculpting, a fat-freezing procedure that uses controlled cooling to eliminate stubborn areas of fat on the body, took the #1 spot with a 60% interest increase compared to 4th quarter search results for 2017. Microneedling was also high on the list of procedures searched by RealSelf users. The treatment uses fine needles to rejuvenate skin and stimulate collagen. Porcelain Veneers were also of interest, up 21% quarter over quarter growth, as was information on laser hair removal.
