Pacific Place Announces September Art Events

Head downtown to Pacific Place to celebrate local art in the city with dynamic art experiences, LIVE music, in-store events, and a special pop-up market featuring Pacific Northwest artisans.

During the month of September, Pacific Place will be hosting a variety of property-wide events to celebrate and cultivate the local art scene. The fun begins on Saturday, September 21 with a special "Art is Everywhere” event from 2-4 p.m. featuring LIVE jazz, a community-inspired collaborative art project, DIY activities, and more. To keep the party going, Camp Opal will be hosting a hands-on ceramics workshop with local artist Andra Throws from 2-5 p.m. where guests are invited to bring their creativity to life by making a custom piece. (Please note: Pre-registration is required.) The store will also host Rebekah Lewis from Onyx + Petal from 1-4 p.m.

The momentum continues on Friday, September 27th and Saturday, September 28th with a special two-day "Art Experience" event featuring music by local DJs, in-store activations, and a captivating LIVE art installation by artist Paul Nunn. Guests are also invited to explore a pop-up marketplace curated by the Belltown Art Walk featuring work by over a dozen Pacific Northwest artists. For guests in the mood for full art immersion, visitors are encouraged to check out the center's unique in-house art galleries including Ghost Gallery, Gallery Onyx, and WOW Gallery.

Music fans will enjoy LIVE music by DJ Chardonnay on Friday, Sept. 27 from 4-7 p.m. and musician Katrina Kope on Saturday, Sept. 28 from 2-4 p.m. in the atrium.

Sustainable apparel brand PROTO101 will host Seattle artist Laura Hansen on Friday, Sept. 27 from 4-8 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 28 from 1-5 p.m. Stop by to meet her and check out her latest work.
