Mountain View Village Celebrates Phase II Grand Opening
The highly-anticipated Phase II grand opening of Mountain View Village, a premier mixed-use lifestyle center in Riverton, took place over the 4th of July holiday weekend and was well received by the local community. The event marked a new milestone for the property and included a formal ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the official grand opening of 13 new stores and restaurants bringing the total number of on-site tenants to 61.
Weekend highlights included a full line-up of family-friendly activities including LIVE music, performances by Nitro Circus, Paw Patrol parties for kids, a small business pop-up curated by Juniper Market, nightly fireworks, and a special “Golden Ticket Giveaway” which awarded 5 lucky winners a $500 shopping spree. The festivities also included meet & greet opportunities for kids with beloved Disney and Pixar characters, Jedi training, an Encanto sing-a-long, dinosaur photo opps, and face painting. Dynamic footage of the grand opening event was captured by 3 photographers, 2 videographers, and 2 aerial drones.
“We are now over 95% committed on the Phase II development project, which is unheard of in the industry, and reflects the growth in the Southwest Corridor. As the go-to destination for shoppers and food lovers alike, Mountain View Village is the most dynamic gathering place in Riverton and the entire South Valley,” shared Chris Byers, Sr. VP of Leasing.
During the opening weekend, the property unveiled a variety of new stores and restaurants including Athleta, Buckle, Cotton On, Lovesac, Purple, Sephora, Royal Coffee, and more. Mountain View Village is also home to an array of entertainment options including a 14-screen Cinemark theater and X-Golf, both of which are first to market.
