Froglegs Culinary Announces Grand Opening at Redmond Town Center
Prepare to get whisked away at FrogLeg’s newest location featuring family fun for everyone
REDMOND, WA - May 22, 2023 - FrogLegs Culinary, Seattle’s favorite edible education company, is expanding on the Eastside with a new location at Redmond Town Center. The 2,000-square-foot location scheduled to open June 12, 2023, will represent the full expression of the FrogLegs lifestyle complete with 2 kitchens for classes and events, a retail marketplace brimming with gifts, party supplies, and culinary essentials, plus a new “grab-and-go” section featuring snack boxes, charcuterie trays, take-and-bake meals, and more. The new space will also feature on-site seating, both indoor and outdoor, where guests can enjoy treats from the dessert case as they relax and take in the delicious scents of the high-energy culinary classes.
The new location offers Redmond families a unique space to gather and enjoy an exciting line-up of edible entertainment offerings that include camps, classes, birthday celebrations, adult gatherings and corporate events.
A grand opening celebration is scheduled for the weekend of June 17-18, 2023. Community members are invited in to get a first-look at the new space, meet the team, and decorate their own complimentary cookie or cupcake all weekend long (while supplies last). Guests can also enter-to-win raffle prizes from FrogLegs and take advantage of special pricing on summer camps in Redmond.
Summer Camps
Scheduled to begin on Monday, June 12, 2023, the featured themes of this year’s summer camps include: The Great Outdoors: Let's Go Camping With George, Little Italy, CHOPPED Kids, and The Adventures of Willy Wonka. For more information visit froglegskca.com/sc. Drop-in classes are also available.

About The Founder
Laura Vida is a passionate mompreneur and a driving force in the culinary education landscape of Seattle. Her professional journey includes time spent in the kitchens of 4-star hotels, as a gourmet food buyer and product developer for Starbucks, and as a consultant/instructor at Sur la Table.
In 2002, she began her first foray into entrepreneurship by launching Firefly Fandango, a specialty cookie and candy company. Firefly products were on the shelves of large national realtors like Williams-Sonoma, Crate, and Barrel, and Marshall Fields until it was sold in 2002. She launched FrogLegs Culinary Academy in 2008 in her own kitchen.
Under Laura's charismatic leadership, Froglegs Kids Culinary blossomed into three Seattle-area retail locations - University Village, Kirkland, WA, and Redmond, WA. Her mission is to create connection and community through culinary experiences designed to educate and inspire people of all ages.
Laura's expertise lies in creating a nurturing environment where children learn valuable culinary skills while embracing a healthier lifestyle. Her contagious enthusiasm and hands-on teaching approach have earned her recognition from parents, educators, and the culinary community alike.
