Runway Recap: 2024 Bellevue Fashion Week
Fashion fans gathered at the Hyatt Regency in Bellevue earlier this month for the 19th annual Bellevue Fashion Week event featuring two days of high-energy runway shows. The Trend Takeover kick-off event took place on Friday night to help raise funds for local non-profit Washington Women in Need while Saturday’s show, The Collective, benefitted KidQuest Children’s Museum. In total, this year’s Bellevue Fashion Week runway shows raised more than $96,000.
Both shows were styled and produced by Terri Morgan of TCM Models. Friday’s show featured 8 travel-inspired sets to showcase a wide range of fall and holiday looks for every occasion including faux leather jackets, tweed cardigans, suede overcoats, velvet suits, party dresses, and more. Saturday’s show featured 10 fashion-forward sets designed to help shoppers put their best foot forward this holiday season.
Key trends included sparkly embellishments, textures of all types (faux fur, suede, velvet, leather), jewel-toned colors, and easy accessories to instantly pull together any look (bracelets, necklaces, scarves, belts, the “it” bag, and more).
Friday night’s show featured hair by Chromatique Salon and make-up by Sephora. Saturday’s show featured hair by Salon 8 and make-up by Sephora. 2024 media partners included KOMO4, ARC Seattle, and Seattle Refined.
The event was well received by guests and gave fashion fans a much-needed opportunity to get dressed up for a noteworthy night on the town. Swag bags were brimming with goodies from Bellevue Collection retailers including Lady M, Tesla, Royce Chocolates, Proto101, and more. Guests also enjoyed photos in the 360 photobooth and walk-through photo tunnel at the event.
Congrats to the Kemper Freeman Family, The Bellevue Collection, featured non-profits, and the entire production team who worked together to make Bellevue Fashion Week a huge success!
