Our Founder

Known for having her finger on the pulse of all things fashion, Sydney Mintle is a fashion marketing and public relations expert who deeply understands the inner-workings of the industry.  With two decades of experience in nearly every aspect of the fashion world, Sydney has worked as an event producer for Fashion First, served as the Regional Director for Fashion Group International, and spent six years managing overseas production for Zumiez private label before launching SydneyLovesFashion.com, a blog exploring style trends and emerging local designers. In 2010, fully immersed in Seattle’s fashion scene, Sydney officially launched Gossip & Glamour with the goal of serving fashion industry clients and helping them navigate marketing, public relations, and operations from a business of fashion point of view.

Aside from running Gossip & Glamour, Sydney is a wife and mother of two. When she’s not running around Queen Anne with her kids, she’s traveling to London to shop at Selfridges and get lost in the Victoria & Albert Museum.

Sydney had been working with a close friend of mine when she was launching her company and I was always so impressed at the events she was in on, and who she was getting to know through this connection. I finally met Sydney at an event I attended with this friend and I was blown away by her loving and considerate nature. She had several clients at this event and gave them all her best. It was very obvious that she cared deeply about ALL of them. I am a hairdresser and salon owner so the ability to care deeply about many people at the same time hits me probably differently than others. I can see how genuine her care is.

I finally had an opportunity to work with Sydney on the launch of our newly remodeled space (after 43 years) and I couldn’t have done it without her. She just swooped in and gave me all the info I needed for a successful launch party. She found vendors and leveraged her own relationships and created a seamless collaboration. She helped me host and guide my staff. Just having her present at the event gave me such ease. From there she and I still talk frequently and she is just such a connector, so I am always looking to see what and who she is involved with. Because of her enormous and successful background anything she touches is instantly legitimized and elevated. I wouldn’t look elsewhere for help in anything PR related for my business and Sydney is always at the top of my referral list for anyone looking for guidance to a huge campaign.

I’ve so grateful I met Sydney. After struggling to find the right PR company to work with, it was so refreshing to met her. She is a true champion for her clients. I admire her for her unique balance of being incredibly proactive and out there on her client’s behalf while also being reflective, grounded and an incredible listener. This combination of her skill set truly special and rare. We came to her to create opportunities to tell our story through the right, quality media channels and she delivered. I am excited for the next opportunity to work with her again as she’s always moving with the pulse of the industry. On top of this, she’s also a kind, caring, compassionate person who is a joy to work with.

I have had the pleasure of working with Sydney this year on fashion events for Neiman Marcus Bellevue. She has helped expose our brand by connecting us with her network of bloggers and style influencers. She is on the pulse of what is happening in the world of fashion and retail, especially at a local level.

Sydney did a fantastic job managing communications outreach for our first Brooks PR event in Seattle. After moving our HQ to Seattle, we wanted to host an event that would introduce local media and bloggers to our new fall collection. Sydney has a wonderful network of contacts in the Seattle area and is well-respected within the community. Her connections helped us ensure the right people were in attendance and that they had all of the materials and information that would be pertinent to them and the stories that resonate with their audience. I can’t say enough good things about Sydney! She’s wonderful to work with and delivered above and beyond what we had asked for. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for assistance with PR/media outreach and event support!
