Hello Fashion Friends,

Welcome to the Gossip & Glamour 10 Year Anniversary Fashion Vault! What a journey it’s been. When I launched back in 2010, I had no idea where this venture would lead, but I was open to what it might bring. I took on clients that were doing interesting things in the community and I found inherent value in nurturing small, independent brands. In many ways, today feels strangely like the beginning, a rebirth at a time when we are all discovering new value in what we do.

We’re entering the great unknown, and what has become increasingly clear is our need to look forward and imagine new possibilities. I have always believed that fashion can be a catalyst for making the world a better place. And while I deeply understand the complexities and challenges we face right now, I also know we have the power to spearhead change.

For years, we’ve talked about the benefits of disruption in the fashion industry, but little did we know that COVID-19 would shake things up on such a scale that would force us to find new ways of working. The pandemic has also shed light on the fact that we need to do business in a more conscious, sustainable, and equitable way that is good for both people and the planet. The system wasn’t working, and it is our job to dismantle it and rebuild in a more mindful way.

As we're all adjusting to seismic changes in our lives, this is truly a moment of reset and reflection. It is our job to innovate and help new talent find their voices as they create the purpose-driven brands of the future. For the past decade, Gossip & Glamour has provided an inclusive space of togetherness to celebrate fashion. We want to thank you for your love and support over the years as we look forward to the decade ahead!

At Gossip & Glamour, we believe that doing business in a way that is fundamentally good for both people and the planet is critical to our success. Finding ways to give back to the local community has always been at the core of our company. Over the past decade, we’ve supported a range of causes and charitable events that have helped make the world a better place. We’re proud to share this overview of our community impact highlights from the past ten years and look forward to continued contribution and collaboration in the next ten.

    • Over the years, we’ve had the opportunity to work closely with Seattle Goodwill to produce a variety of community events including an MTV ‘House of Style’ DIY event, fashion-forward Halloween parties, and even an event focusing on vintage fashion in an effort to raise awareness about Goodwill’s free job training programs.

  • PR Support for Seattle’s Wine Women & Shoes Fundraising events in 2016, 2017, and 2018

Over the years, the students in our program have gone on to successfully land jobs in the fashion industry and credit their time spent with Gossip & Glamour as being a critical part of their success.
