WOC Worldwide announces Women of Color Conversation series with Amazon LIVE!
Jessica Couch and Brittany Hicks, founders of Women of Color Worldwide, have announced a new five-part “Women of Color Conversation” series with Amazon LIVE. The digital talks will feature experts who work in a wide range of creative industries including fashion, beauty, music, film, and television.
The first conversation, focusing on Social Trend Forecasting in fashion aired on September 18 and featured Janelle Burgess, Fash Tech Style Director of Amazon Fashion and Fashion Influencer Essie Golden. The conversation, hosted by Brittany and Jessica, explored the professional experiences of women of color in the fashion industry. (View Recording)
Episode 2 aired on September 25 and focused on Fashion Brand Development and featured Amazon’s Monica Lightfoot, Head of Product Management and Blake Gifford, the Chicago-based attorney behind the style blog Signed, Blake. (View Recording)
