Women of Color FashTech Brunch Returns to NYC

The Women of Color FashTech Brunch, produced by retail consulting firm Fayetteville Road, will return to New York this fall for the first time since the pandemic began. Scheduled for Sunday, October 16 at Ludlow House, the brunch will take on a town hall format and explore the state of fashion, beauty, and technology for women of color. This community-focused event will bring together industry thought-leaders for much-needed reflection on the past two years while discussing the outlook for the future of fashion and technology. Confirmed speakers include reps from the CFDA, 15% Pledge, Google, Pinterest, Black Women Talk Tech, and Black Girl Ventures.

Since launching the brunch in 2019, founders Brittany Hicks and Jessica Couch have been featured by a variety of media outlets for their innovative work at the intersection of retail, fashion, and technology. In addition, they’ve launched a mentorship program, job board, and partnered with Nordstorm to launch an exclusive beauty box featuring a curated assortment of Black-owned brands.
