Launch Alert: Say hello to Andieanderin

One of the BEST parts about our job is getting to introduce cool new brands to the marketplace. Seattle brand Andieanderin definitely fits the bill. This amazing local company creates neckties for women and girls designed after influential women.

"You may be wondering why we chose a necktie," says co-founder Cara Ingham, "But really, there was no question - this garment transformer was thoughtfully picked to represent the women’s movement from the late seventies and the rise of women in prominent work positions in the eighties. And, they are a versatile, badass statement piece!"

The debut collection features 7 styles that are 100% silk and made in the U.S.A. Each tie is inspired by influential women both past and present including Hillary Clinton, Beyonce, Mother Teresa, Frida Kahlo, Michelle Obama, Malala, and Oprah.

The neckties are available for both women and girls and can be worn as traditional ties, as a belt, as a hair accessory, worn to accessorize a handbag, and even as a wrap for your wrist. Each tie comes beautifully packaged in a keepsake box with a storyboard that illustrates the accomplishments of the woman the necktie is inspired by.

Andieanderin donates a portion of the proceeds from each sale to a rotating list of non-profit partners that support the empowerment of women and girls. Their current charity partner is Step Up, an organization that empowers teen girls to become confident, college-bound and career-focused through mentorship programs, college tours, and internship opportunities. Did you know that teen girls with a mentor are 55% more likely to enroll in college?
