Seattle residents are now required to wear face masks in public to help reduce the spread of COVID-19. The new guidance includes grocery stores, restaurants, retail, indoor workplaces, public transit, and outdoor areas where social distancing cannot be maintained. Many local brands are answering the call of safety by offering masks that help keep fashion fans stylish and safe. Here are 10 of our favorite face masks on the market right now.

One Imaginary Girl face masks are not for the faint of heart. They are for die-hard fashion fans who want to make a style statement. A portion of the proceeds from every sale will benefit a rotating list of local non-profits.
Freeman has 100% cotton face masks available in brushed twill and plain weave oxford fabric. The masks are $10 and will be made in between production runs of PPE for local healthcare workers.
Designer Luly Yang currently has over a dozen styles of stylish face masks available including one that features her signature butterfly motif. Each mask is priced at $55 and made in Luly’s couture studio located in Seattle. They recently added “Mommy & Me” styles, as pictured above, which are priced at $95 for the set.

Sustainable brand Tokki is also now offering face masks for both kids and adults. For every mask purchased, one is donated to a frontline worker in need. To date, the company has donated over 10,000 masks to healthcare workers.

Couture face masks for men and women are now available from Gustavo Apiti. Born and raised in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Gustave has been sewing since the age of eight. Since then, he has worked with top fashion houses in South Africa and done custom work for celebrities around the world including Seattle rapper Macklemore.
Fremont boutique Pipe & Row is now stocking nearly a dozen styles of ethically-made face masks in a variety of prints. Each mask is made from deadstock fabric and features elasticized ear loops and a filter opening.
